Steve Wedan has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, summa cum laude, and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University. He has over 20 years of medical device experience, including design engineering of MRI and ultrasound systems for GE Healthcare, as well as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Applied Biometrics Inc. Prior to co-founding Imricor, Mr. Wedan founded and operated a successful technical consulting company, Wedan Technologies Inc., from 2000-2006. Mr. Wedan is a U.S. appointed expert in the fields of MRI safety and the compatibility of implanted and interventional products in MRI.
