Biography

Chris is the Chief Medical Officer at HealthReveal, an early-stage digital health company whose mission is to preempt avoidable consequences associated with chronic disease. Through continual monitoring of all available sources of health data, HealthReveal not only predicts which patients are at high risk for adverse events such as stroke, heart attack, or heart failure hospitalization, but moreover prescribes the guideline-directed interventions at the individual patient level to improve patient trajectories. Chris is a Board-certified emergency medicine physician who earned her SB, SM and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at MIT, and her MD at Harvard Medical School. She trained at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, after which she worked clinically in both academic and community hospitals in the Greater Boston area. From 2010 to 2014, she served as the Chief Medical Officer of AFrame Digital, Inc., a telehealth company that focused on real-time personalized trending and alerting of physiological signals for chronic care. She then served as Director of Medical Analytics at ACT.md, an early-stage digital health company focused on care coordination, until she joined HealthReveal in 2015. Chris has authored peer-reviewed articles as well as a book entitled Blueprints Clinical Cases in Emergency Medicine, and has presented her research work in predictive modeling to audiences at both national and international conferences.
